Our Roots

The Matchbox story began quite unassumingly. It was the brainchild of Ani Bisaria, who, while deeply entrenched in corporate marketing world, began helping his network with their marketing needs on the side. His expertise and results soon meant that word spread, and what started as casual assistance grew into a burgeoning opportunity.

Over two years, what began as a freelance gig transformed into The Matchbox—a dynamic team of 30 marketing experts. Our growth has been driven not just by exceptional talent but by a shared vision. Today, we serve a diverse clientele across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, spanning sectors from venture capital to software, and catering to both enterprise and mid-market clients.

Ellen Goldhammer
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Ellen Goldhammer is a seasoned marketing strategist with a track record of driving high-impact campaigns across digital, field, and full-funnel marketing channels. With experience working in professional sports as well as enterprise technologies, Ellen brings a unique perspective that combines data-driven decision-making with deep consumer psychology insights to craft compelling narratives that convert.

A master of turning complex data sets into actionable storytelling, Ellen specializes in performance marketing, campaign optimization, and audience engagement. She is passionate about leveraging human behavior and psychological triggers to create resonant, high-performing marketing strategies that drive both brand awareness and revenue growth.

Currently a Senior Client Manager at The Matchbox, Ellen partners with brands to refine their go-to-market strategies, optimize digital performance, and execute high-impact marketing initiatives. With a focus on innovation, audience insights, and ROI-driven decision-making, she helps businesses turn their marketing efforts into measurable success.

Erik Leavell
HEAD OF DESIGN

Highlights/Accomplishments: 
Launched Hybrid AI, the world’s first AI-powered creative solution enhanced by human expertise.Led the rebrand from Bisaria Digital to The Matchbox, redefining the company’s identity and positioning.Revitalized dozens of brands’ creative campaigns, driving significant increases in CTRs and conversion rates through strategic creative and UX improvements.

Education:
Left school in 10th grade to pursue entrepreneurship.

Early Career:
Co-Founded 360icons, which became the world’s largest online Esports tournament operator at its peak. Built a community of over 100,000 gamers. From there, I pivoted into the sex toy industry, then applied those skills to Social Security retirement seminar marketing (they have more in common than you'd expect). Over time, I realized my passion is simply building and exploring new industries. Today, I get to live that across various sectors in the agency world.

Gabrielle Tischler

My passion for people and my gift of gab have enabled me to build strong connections, foster collaboration, and create people-first environments where we excel together.

Megan Breyer
SENIOR ACCOUNT COORDINATOR


Education:
Boise State University. BA in Marketing & Psychology

Early Career:
With over 8 years of experience in industries ranging from technology and real estate, to apparel and entertainment–I specialize in brand development, project management, graphic design, organic and paid social media strategy. I've had the chance to work on diverse projects across website development, email, paid media, organic social, OOH, radio, and online audio—for companies like Universal Studios, Meta, BELLA+CANVAS, and The Agency. I’m passionate about turning creative ideas into strategies that truly make an impact.

Sydney Allen
Senior Manager Finance Operations

Highlights/Accomplishments: 
Building the Spyll World royalty collection and accounting strategy.

Education:
MA in 2025, once I finish my dissertation.

Early Career:
I started in international label rights, allocating royalties to hundreds of independents. Then, I worked on streamlining publishing mechanicals and user-generated content.
